Missy Cat shares Past Purdy Cat's Christmasses

I thought it would be fun to tell you about some of our Christmas Pasts with the Purdy Cats. We used to live in a larger house on Old Farm Road. We put up our tree downstairs in the den where it was nice and cozy with a fire blazing in the wood burning stove.

Mom found some pictures of us having fun with our Christmas toys and especially with the boxes and paper! Do your cats like Christmas wrapping and bags? We do!

Let me introduce you to some of my pals. (I know you have met some before but I like to call their names and see if they will come running.)

This is Zippy. He's the oldest. He loves playing peek-a-boo. retrieving balls and spying on Mommy to see where she will hide our gifts!

He found his gift!

 "My bag!"

"Silly Isaac!"

"No, no Isaac. I don't think that is yours!"

 Jake (Isaac's twin brother) had a ball with all the gifts Grammy brought for us to share.

"Can't believe we got toothpaste and toothbrushes for Christmas!"

"Playing with Christmas toys, bags, boxes and wrapping makes a kitty sleepy!"

"Hey boys, you'd better be nice - it's just Christmas Eve. You don't want lumps of coal in your stocking do you?"

"Patch looks so cute when he wears his bandana! Guess he wants to be a cowboy kitty!"

"Isaac and Patch joined Jake in the huge bag of toys! I'm more dignified, you see. I like to watch the boys act silly."

"This is my very favorite! My suede mousie. I love him so much, I take it with me, give it baths just like a mama cat grooms her kitten and when I nap, Little Mousie naps with me. This reminds me that Christmas isn't about the pretty, glittery things or the toys. It is about the birth of a baby - God's only son, Jesus and I'm so glad He came!"
