Happy New Year from Missy Cat and Friends

Hi kitty fans,

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas. We did. We had company and there was never a dull moment!
"Mommy," her sisters and two nieces had so much fun making Christmas candy and singing. At one point, Aunt Melissa and Mommy started singing two "silly motion songs" that they used to sing or teach in Sunday School and in Vacation Bible School. Our two cousins had never heard of either song so the grown ups had to demonstrate. It was so funny. My side hurt from laughing - silly people!

Of course, we cats watched from a distance but you can tell by the pictures that Ruby and Skippy decided to try do the motions of the songs.

I think Ruby was demonstrating "Father Abraham". Right foot, left foot, right arm, left arm, nod your head, turn around - sit down!" She is doing a much better job me!

In this picture, I think they are doing the motions to "Hallelujah - Praise ye the Lord!"
One is Hallelujah and the other is Praise the Lord. They had to stand at their part of the song and sit as the other stands. I think they are demonstrating this well, don't you?

Seriously, we had a wonderful Christmas which is Jesus birthday and He is worthy of all our praise.

Aunt Melissa is coming to visit tomorrow. Can't wait to see how we will welcome the New Year.
It looks like Little Miss Alice is already watching for the New Year.

Or maybe she was being a ballerina in Nutcracker like our cousin, Liz!

We are looking forward to seeing How the Lord will work in our lives in 2014.
May He bless you with a purrrrrrrrfect New Year!

Do you have any special stories or Christmas pictures you would like to share on our page? We even welcome pictures with dogs in it!  Feel free to share!
Love,
Missy Cat
