Three kitties have been very busy this week helping us decorate the Christmas tree, chasing stray ornaments, trying to play with ribbon and bows. And now they are ready for a well deserved nap. This evening they will help with baking Christmas cookies. Well, they will probably watch and Little Alice will demand attention when "Mom's" hands are full. So rest up, little ones!

Did you know that Christmas time can be dangerous for cats?
Some cats like to chew on plastic - such as the shiny plastic tabs on the Christmas tree light cords.
Many plants are poisonous for animals. The Poinsettia is a beautiful Christmas plant but can be tragic if ingested by cats and dogs.
Be sure the cords are hidden from kitties who like to chew on things.
If you have a live tree, don't let your pets drink from the tree's water container. Some people add extra ingredients such as bleach to make the tree stay fresh longer.
Did you know that your special Christmas treats of cookies and candy could be fatal for your pet? Be sure to have your pets treats or kibble to feed your cat or dog when they give you that "please let me have a bite" look.
