And then she opened her eyes and looked at me - the intruder!
And then her little tail began to swish back and forth. You know what that means - she's not happy!
I had spoiled the moment for her.
When I first saw her lying there she was the perfect picture of contentment. Cats love the sunshine and she was soaking it up. And then she saw the camera and that moment of peaceful slumber in the sunbeam turned into irritation and sulking.
Sometimes, we allow things to come between us and the Son of God. We allow little interruptions to take our focus off Him. The peace of basking in His Word turns into a sinful thought or action.
This weekend, lets bask in His love. Don't let the world entice you or taunt you to turn you from the Truth of His Word.
